Yeah its notoriously difficult to fund fashion startups. You can sometimes apply to the various state arts funding bodies to hold exhibitions etc though and some of the funding you get from this can be used for creative fashion practices..Have a look at Arts QLD, VIC etc and you should be able to find something.
