This juried competition is organized by The Silver Eye Center for Photography in Pittsburgh in order to identify and recognize both rising talent and established photographers from all corners of the globe and from the state of Pennsylvania.

Awards:

• One International Award Winner receives a solo exhibition at Silver Eye opening in mid-May 2012; $3,000 for exhibition-related expenses; an online gallery on Silver Eye’s website (with link to artist website); and extensive media outreach and promotion.
• One Keystone Award Winner receives a spotlight exhibition at Silver Eye; $1,000 for exhibition-related expenses; an online gallery on Silver Eye’s website (with link to artist website); and media outreach and promotion. 
• Five Jurors’ Commendation Winners will be named on Silver Eye’s website and press releases.

WOOLLAHRA SMALL SCULPTURE PRIZE: Entries have opened for the 2011 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize which includes the major acquisitive award of $10,000 as well as the Special Commendation, non-acquisitive award of $2,000; and a Viewer’s Choice, non-acquisitive award, of $1,000.

The movement in all forms of dance imaged in the moment by photography is our goal. Momentum: Images of Dance captures the energy and drama of both mediums.

Prizes:

• First, Second, Third and Fourth place; Honorable Mention; and C.V.R.B. Commendation Prize. All six winners will receive graduated monetary awards and frameable certificates.
• All 12 winning images will be displayed on the website in 2011.

The CLIP (contemporary landscapes in photography) Award is a national prize recognising contemporary landscapes in photo-based media offering $3500 in prize money.
The criteria for selection will focus on images that are original, stimulating and challenge traditional notion of landscape photography, urban, industrial, rural.

This event will also provide emerging photomedia artists the opportunity to be selected for the Saville Australia Urban Energy Award- a photographic contract to the value of $7500.

Prizes

• First Prize – $3,000
• Commendation Prize – $500

Winners are announced on 4th June 2010.

Fees in 2010
$30 for PCP members and $45 for non-PCP members.
