Still Point Art Gallery invites submissions for its upcoming online exhibition: True Artist. This exhibition invites submissions from "true artists." Artists are encouraged to submit works that are enmeshed with their lives…works that hold the artist's joys and sorrows, stories and secrets, reflections, musings, and passions.

Open to artists 18 years of age or older from around the world who submit artwork in any medium except video and wearable art. Submissions must be the creation of the artist. Reproductions of original artwork are not accepted.

The Upstream People Gallery presents an exhibition with 12 month’s gallery representation, August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011, with approximately 900,000 hits each month. Open to all artists worldwide. Artworks except film and video, including collage, digital and all mixed media. All artworks including alternative media, paintings, sculpture, prints, drawing, photographs, papier colle, assemblage, installation, digital manipulation, ceramics, fiber and any other.

Cash Awards of Excellence and Special Recognitions will be given at the juror’s discretion; the amounts and number of which is determined by the entries and their quality. Specially recognized artists will be reviewed in the juror’s statement published worldwide and sent in a press release to the artist’s local newspaper(s).

The Cahoon Museum of American Art announces a call for entries for its second national juried exhibition, “Moonstruck,” running Sept. 21-Nov. 7 this year in a 1775 house art museum on Cape Cod. Open to all artists 18 or older nationwide. We’re seeking original works that celebrate the moon in all mediums and styles. Entries must have been completed after January 1, 2008, and created without supervision. Works will be made available for purchase if the artist chooses.
