Try to focus on the following with your submissions:
- Innovations in research for health and the impact on people’s lives;
- The results of research for health, equity and development;
- Research for health, equity and development “in action”;
- The potential of research for health;
- Examples of concrete innovative projects with an impact on health, equity and development;
- How research and innovation can work for health, equity and development in all sectors (e.g. environment, education, business, and technology).
Prizes:
- 1st place: USD 2000
- 2nd place: USD 1000
- 3rd place: USD 500
- 50 Entries will be exhibited in Cape Town, South Africa

Enter timely photography that documents the refusal to accept the status quo of dictatorships, corporate greed, and abuse of the environment. The Bethlehem Writers Group is currently accepting submissions for their debut Short Story Award. Jonathon Maberry, a NY Times bestselling author, will judge. The City of Melbourne is pleased to introduce a new public art commissioning structure for the creation of innovative artworks as part of its Public Art Program in 2012. Submissions are now open.
Expressions of Interest are invited in three categories:
- Category 1 invites artists to develop artworks to the value of $5000
- Category 2 invites artists to develop medium-scale artworks to the value of $50,000
- Category 3 invites artists to develop large-scale artworks to the value of $360,000
Closing date for Category 1: Friday 2 December 2011 Closing date for Categories 2 and 3: Friday 9 December 2011
